The science of mind control and loving our own slavery: Richard Grove on State of Mind

Richard Grove: powerful elites seek to control us us by extinguishing free thought.

By Craig McKee
It’s one thing to be controlled through force. Force is visible and its implications are evident: go against those in power and you could be ostracized, imprisoned, or killed.
But according to filmmaker and forensic historian Richard Grove, a co-writer of the recently released documentary State of Mind: The Psychology of Control, there is a more insidious form of control at work in our society, one that powerful elites have employed throughout history without most of us even realizing it. The target of this form of control is our minds. And what is under siege is our ability and willingness to think critically, to challenge what we Continue reading

Truther-friendly Canadian thriller pulls back curtain on elites' agenda

The Conspiracy posterThe Conspiracy: Written and directed by Christopher MacBride; starring Aaron Poole and James Gilbert; 84 minutes; to be released in the U.S.A. on August 8.
By Barrie Zwicker (Special to Truth and Shadows)
Is The Conspiracy a motion picture about a larger picture in slow motion – namely what’s usually called the New World Order?
Or is it meant to gently mock that idea?
Only writer/director Christopher MacBride knows for sure. But the ambiguity of a movie that is a mash-up of documentary and thriller/horror genres leaves room for MSM reviewers to be less hostile than they otherwise would be to the script, in which JFK’s assassination, the sinking of the Lusitania, the alleged Gulf of Tonkin incident, and 9/11 all are presented as “inside jobs,” and it is observed that these usually precede wars. Truth and Shadows launches exclusive Barrie Zwicker series on false flags, the most destructive of deceptions

It was suggested to me some months ago by a reader that the name of the 9/11 Truth movement should be changed to the False Flag Awareness movement.
While I didn’t think the suggestion was very practical (how do you go about changing the name of a movement?), the idea of putting 9/11 in the larger context of false flags stayed with me. Not only would it help people to understand what the event was really all about, but it also would show how 9/11 is not unique but instead part of a continuum that goes back centuries.
It makes sense to me that we should work to raise awareness that events like 9/11 are not isolated or outside of the normal pattern of manipulation and control by the powerful over the powerless, they are business as Continue reading

Explosion of interest in Sandy Hook anomalies polarizes, prompts nasty media backlash

The school parking lot and the black Honda allegedly driven by Adam Lanza.

It’s like a conspiracy theory on steroids.
Everything about the Sandy Hook shooting is more emotional, more perplexing, and more polarizing than any single “conspiracy” event in recent memory. Questions, theories, and challenges to what we’ve been told by authorities and the media are coming up faster and more frequently than we’ve seen in just about any other similar circumstance.
Confirmed facts are in short supply while emotion rules the day. Children are involved, so convincing people to question the facts is even more difficult than it would otherwise be. It seems that questioning potential conspiracies is something you can do as long as you keep your doubts in good taste. It’s hard to meet that standard when you’re questioning whether the mass shooting of children was actually a staged event (or at Continue reading

Angry words exchanged as 9/11 feature collapses: Sheen and Harrelson never signed contracts

This version of the poster features several actors who had never agreed to appear. Used in accordance with Section 107 (Fair Use) of U.S. Copyright Law.

By Craig McKee
Just a month after it was announced to the world, the 9/11 feature film September Morn, based on a script from first-time screenwriter Howard Cohen, is dead.
At least in its current form.
The project fell apart over the past couple of weeks after Cohen’s partners in the production, Fleur de Lis Film Studios, announced on Oct. 16 that the film would go ahead with stars Woody Harrelson and Martin Sheen even though neither had formally committed themselves to the project (The announcement received considerable media attention, including an article in The Huffington Post).
In fact, a full cast was announced even though some actor Continue reading

Guy Fawkes, the Gunpowder Plot, and how false flags have shaped history

A portrait of Guy Fawkes, who was executed for ‘the gunpowder plot.’

Remember, remember, the 5th of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why the gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
-Old English folk rhyme (anonymous)

By Barrie Zwicker (Special to Truth and Shadows)

Today, November 5th, is Guy Fawkes Day, also known as Gunpowder Day. In 2012 it’s the 407th anniversary of The Gunpowder Plot or Gunpowder Treason, as it was first called.
It also happens to be my 78th birthday. So I’ve been more aware of Guy Fawkes Day than most. I’m especially happy about how ubiquitous the Guy Fawkes mask has become. Continue reading

Fear of ‘ridicule’ leads to damaging partition of 9/11 Truth movement

According to Chandler and Romanoff, Gage and Ryan should have passed up this audience.

By Craig McKee
The 9/11 Truth movement is fighting a war – but it’s only wounding itself.
Self-appointed “credibility cops” have made it their mission to act as antibodies in the Truth movement’s immune system, seeking out and destroying harmful ideas, individuals, and alliances they think threaten the survival of the host. The idea is to rid the movement of any area of research that might contaminate it and invite public ridicule.
But is the cure worse than the disease?
The exaggerated need to control all aspects of the message is working against us. We have become so Continue reading

Pushing boundaries: 9/11 Vancouver Hearings embrace controversy

June 14, 2012

By Craig McKee

In Toronto, we saw the conservative approach to examining 9/11 evidence. In Vancouver we’re going to see something quite different.
In stark contrast to last September’s Toronto Hearings into the Events of September 11, 2001, the 9/11 Vancouver Hearings will pursue the truth wherever that leads, according to co-organizer Joshua Blakeney. The stated mission of the hearings, which start tomorrow, is to “push the boundaries of 9/11 truth.”
In an interview this week, Blakeney, Canadian correspondent for Press TV and staff writer at Veterans Today, said the Vancouver Hearings will explore a number of areas that Toronto wouldn’t touch or only briefly addressed.
One is the question of whether a plane crash was faked at the Pentagon. Another is whether there is merit in some of the more Continue reading

Two quit in protest after Zarembka dumped from Consensus 9/11 Panel

The objective of the Panel is to create a bank of points refuting elements of the official story.

May 2, 2012

By Craig McKee

Two members of David Ray Griffin’s Consensus 9/11 Panel have quit in protest following the dismissal of fellow member Paul Zarembka.
Journalist and author Barrie Zwicker and Pilots For 9/11 Truth core member Shelton Lankford resigned from the Panel last week in solidarity with Zarembka (author of The Hidden History of 9-11) and over disagreements the three have with Griffin and Panel co-founder Elizabeth Woodworth about how the project is being administered.
“I felt Paul’s treatment was kind of a last straw,” Lankford said in an interview. “For me the Consensus Panel process was functioning as a gatekeeper, and evidence deemed controversial was not going to be Continue reading

Gage concedes his entry into 9/11 Pentagon ‘quagmire’ has been divisive

By Craig McKee
Richard Gage admits that his pronouncements on the Pentagon research of Citizen Investigation Team have done more harm than good.
Since he first waded into the debate two-and-a-half years ago, the founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth has taken plenty of heat from people on all sides of the question of whether a 757 hit the Pentagon on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. Gage now feels he should never have gotten involved – and most people agree with him.
“Entering into and rendering a recommendation and then withdrawing that recommendation ended up really stirring the pot Continue reading
