Is Trump a fascist? It's much worse. Followers are morphing into Nazis in the still-emerging fourth reich

Part 3: Trump Is Heralding Nazism

the general public is being reduced to a state where people not only are unable to find out about the truth but also become unable to search for the truth because they are satisfied with deception and trickery that have determined their convictions, satisfied with a fictitious reality created by design… – Josef Pieper
Those who worry that Donald Trump is a fascist are behind two curves. One
is that there are valid grounds for calling him a Nazi. Too far? No, not far enough.
The second curve is the worry—now being expressed even in some mainstream media—that the USA and maybe Europe are going fascist. Again, this fear falls short. There are valid grounds for describing the direction of the USA and Europe as moving toward the worst manifestation of fascism: resurgent Nazism. Yes that far.
These valid grounds lie in evidence: accepted definitions, disturbing poll Continue reading

U.S. imperialism and the wanton destruction of cultures: an open letter to Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei

“The real aim of the invaders in the 9/11 wars is not to fight Islamic terror. It is rather to continue the process of toppling governments and whole societies slated for destruction by those vying for monopolistic domination. Those pushing forward the new incarnations of the Global War on Terror often project onto those they say they are fighting the very qualities that they themselves epitomize.”—Anthony James Hall

Above is an online conference on false flags and Islamaphobia held yesterday, Dec. 13, in Paris. It featured a number of guests and was hosted by the author of the letter below, Anthony James Hall, and Arabist/Islamologist and radio host Kevin Barrett. Below is an open letter to Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei from Hall that was written originally for an Iranian audience. The letter, which is reproduced here in agreement with the author, is a response to the second letter written by Iran’s Supreme Leader to the youth of the West (Dated Nov. 29, 2015). The first was released in January of 2015 and was prompted by the Charlie Hebdo event in Paris. As well as being a 9/11 truth activist, Hall is professor of globalization studies at the University of Lethbridge in Calgary, Alberta, and is the author of two critically acclaimed books: The American Empire and the Fourth World (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2003) and Earth Into Property: Colonization, Decolonization and Capitalism (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2010).—Craig McKee

Lessons of war: an aging peacenik reflects on Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day 1

By Barrie Zwicker (Special to Truth and Shadows)

As we have almost every year for many years, my wife and I this past November 11th attended the Remembrance Day commemoration at Toronto’s Old City Hall. We’ve seen the crowds grow ever larger
This year we and our daughter had to leave our homes more than an hour and a half before the eleventh hour in order to secure what would have been a good view, had not a solid bank of camerapersons’ backsides all but obstructed it.
Our main reason for joining the commemoration is that Jeanie’s father, Charles, who volunteered and served in the Canadian Army in the Second World War, was killed in the final days of the war in Holland. The reverberations from his death continue, as do the family reverberations for all those killed Continue reading

Make planning a false flag attack a high felony: lawyer and 9/11 activist

In order to bring a nation to support the burdens of maintaining great military establishments, it is necessary to create an emotional state akin to war psychology. There must be the portrayal of external menace.–John Foster Dulles secretary of state in the Eisenhower administration.
By Craig McKee
False flag operations are already illegal – aren’t they?
After all, you can’t legally kill people or destroy property, and then falsely implicate someone else in the crime. But Florida lawyer David Petrano, a member of Lawyers for 9/11 Truth, thinks that a false flag operation is a different and more destructive animal altogether. This is why he’s proposing that Congress pass a False Flag Terrorism Prohibition Act.
“People want a line in the sand now,” Petrano said in a phone interview this week.
Petrano, whose work on the wording is in its early stages, acknowledges that it is highly unlikely Continue reading

Power and the illusion of freedom: simple truth from George Carlin

The limits of debate are established in this country before the debate even begins. Everybody else is marginalized, made to seem like Communists or some other disloyal person. Kook, there’s a word! Now it’s conspiracy. They’ve made that something that can’t even be entertained for a minute – that powerful people might get together and have a plan? Doesn’t happen! You’re a kook, you’re a conspiracy buff! – George Carlin

By Craig McKee

George Carlin made it so clear and so simple. That was his genius.
With humour that we could all relate to, he told us the truth about how our world works and how most of us are cattle for the super rich. How we are conned into believing in the very people who enslave us, how we are conned into believing in the illusion of freedom.
He knew and he told us. We laughed, but did we really listen?
Carlin passed away in 2008. At the time I thought it was sad – just like it’s sad when any beloved entertainer dies. But looking back on it, we lost something unique and irreplaceable when Carlin left us. Continue reading

Toronto G20 a year later: when Canada became a police state

By Craig McKee

In true Orwellian fashion, masked rioters were allowed free reign to go on a destructive rampage while peaceful protesters were beaten, rounded up and denied any semblance of their civil rights.
The scene was Toronto, Canada’s largest city, and the event was the G20 Summit held June 26-27, 2010. The event – for which security cost in the vicinity of $1 billion – led to the largest mass arrest in Canadian history. It was an exercise in crushing dissent, and it left the impression that those in power are only willing to support free speech until people most need to exercise it.
While police were allowing the masked Black Bloc rioters to destroy anything they wanted, they weren’t shy about beating and arresting peaceful protestors. In fact, they arrested many who weren’t even protesting, but who were just trying to walk down the street. One journalist, despite identifying himself, was punched Continue reading

9/11 and the fake war on terror create massive profits, crush dissent

“The ideal set up by the Party was something huge, terrible, and glittering—a world of steel and concrete, of monstrous machines and terrifying weapons—a nation of warriors and fanatics, marching forward in perfect unity, all thinking the same thoughts and shouting the same slogans, perpetually working, fighting, triumphing, persecuting—three hundred million people all with the same face.”

– George Orwell’s 1984

By Craig McKee

Myth: War is something that we in the West don’t want, but to which we must resort at times to ensure our security and protect democracy.
Reality: War is a regular tactic of the criminal elite that truly runs our society. It allows them to steal resources from poor countries, make billions of dollars for themselves and their super rich friends, and keep all of us afraid, distracted, and compliant.
And it works. Over and over. These guys are good at what they do.
Instability, disunity, and disempowerment are the results. We cling to the illusion of democracy, but with the corporate media in the elite’s back pocket, it is very difficult for us to learn the truth. It can be done, but it takes work.
And the one remaining medium for the free, uncensored exchange of ideas is in serious danger of being snuffed out. The Internet is no longer free, and is under increasing attack. The justification is security once again. The entirely fake war on Continue reading

Failed fascist coup in America led to strategy change for corporate elite

“A clique of U.S. industrialist is hell bent to bring a fascist state to supplant our democratic government and is working closely with the fascist regime in Germany and Italy. I have had plenty of opportunity in my post in Berlin to witness how close some of our American ruling families are to the Nazi regime.” – William Dodd, U.S. ambassador to Germany, in a letter to Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1936.

By Craig McKee

If you saw it in a movie, you’d think it was far-fetched. But it happened.
Most Americans have no idea how close they came to living under a Nazi-style dictatorship prior to World War II. But a group that can be fairly called the “who’s who” of 1930s corporate establishment tried to violently overthrow the U.S. government Continue reading
